I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, Registered Nurse and Registered Dietitian, who is nuts about nutrition and wellness! With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Human Nutrition, I am uniquely equipped to provide my clients with the evidenced-based knowledge and tools they need to achieve and maintain a healthy weight and enjoy greater wellness. I’m excited to be able to give back what I’ve been given, to help others experience the peace of health.
This site is for anyone who is interested in learning about nutrition and wellness in order to experience more peace of health. The title comes from the Hebrew word for peace, shalom, which has a much richer meaning than its English counterpart. It conveys a sense of flourishing wholeness – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Achieving and maintaining health and fitness should not be complicated. In this age of information bombardment, it can be challenging to sort actual fact from anecdote. The aim of this site is to present current, evidenced-based research in a simple, practical manner. Our bodies are a gift. Food is a gift. Both are meant to be gratefully enjoyed!
